Songni-san to Worak-san...about halfway!

Roger Shepherd, Prof.David Mason and Andrew Douch in Worak-san national park 5th October 2007.

In the past week the trail has taken us from Munjang-dae in Songni-san national park through to the gates of Mungyeong saejae, where the ancient highway from Busan in the south-east to Seoul in the north-east crossed the Baekdu-daegan.
This area has some of the most rugged land on the peninsula; tall, bald peaks rise sharply from the ridge making for some challenging bouldering and fairly slow going!
Enjoy the photos.
